Practice Financial Policy

Introduction

Our Commitment

It is our practice policy to give patients full information about the cost of their dental work before any treatment is undertaken. An estimate of the cost of a particular treatment will be determined by a number of factors, including the complexity of the case, materials chosen, and treatment type.

The dentist or patient care co-ordinator will discuss the treatment and pricing options with you, and a printed estimate will be provided for you to review before you opt for treatment.

Our price guide will give you guidelines on the cost of our services. If you have any questions regarding treatment or pricing, please ask one of the dentists or patient care co-ordinators, who will be happy to discuss it with you.

We are committed to providing you with the highest quality dental care using only the best materials and technology available today. We are also committed to providing you with up-to-date information and educational tools so that you may fully participate in maintaining optimum oral health.

Payment Options

Ease of Payment

For your convenience, we accept cash, cheque, and all major credit/debit cards. If you prefer to budget for your essential dental care, you may join our Dental Membership Plan, which entitles you to up to 10% off treatment costs.

Payment Policy

We try to make payment as straightforward as possible. Our policy requires patients to prepay the full cost of their treatment appointment prior to its commencement. For ongoing treatments, patients are kindly requested to ensure their account remains in credit by settling the payment due at each visit.

Hygiene Appointments

Our normal business policy is to request payment in advance for all routine hygiene appointments. When you arrange your next hygiene appointment, we will ask that you pay the fee for a routine hygiene visit and will credit your account accordingly.

If you are unable to attend your appointment, the charge will be made for the time allocated to you. This policy also applies to patients on our monthly membership plan, as it ensures fairness and allows us to allocate resources effectively.  In the case of a genuine emergency, we reserve the right to use our discretion in waiving the charge.

Dental Membership Plan

Many patients choose to join the Dental Membership Plan—our pay-monthly membership scheme. We believe that offering this plan is the best way of making treatment affordable without compromising our high quality of care. Dental Membership Plan patients also benefit from discounts on a range of treatments. Please ask at the practice for further information.

Dental Care Finance Options

We have payment options available for treatments over £500.

Estimated Fees

Dentistry is not a precise science; therefore, all fees are estimates. Clinical findings at the time of operation may cause planned treatments to change and, therefore, estimated fees to alter. The practice reserves the right to alter, abort, or change treatment as clinical findings dictate, so that at all times the patient’s best interests are served. We will advise you should deviations from estimated fees occur.

Concerns About Finance

If you have any concerns regarding your dental treatment or payment of your account, please discuss them with us at your earliest convenience.
