You’ll discuss the shape and shade you’d like for your veneers, and your dentist will make any recommendations based on your goals and current teeth.
Your first session will involve a small amount of dental enamel being removed so your veneers can be placed over the top and not be too bulky – this procedure is straightforward, and the amount of enamel removed is minimal.
Your dentist will then take a digital scan of your prepared teeth which is used to make them, and the digital scans are sent off to be professionally crafted.
You’ll then come back in a couple of weeks for your veneers to be fitted and you’ll walk away with a million-dollar smile.

No, because teeth whitening can only remove any post-treatment stains on your veneers, but it won’t alter their original shade. It’s a good idea to have your teeth whitened before you get veneers so they can be shade-matched to your whitened teeth.
At some stage, your veneers might need to be replaced, but if they’re well taken care of, you can expect your veneers to last between five and 15 years.
Veneers are made of very strong material and bonded to your teeth so you can still eat most things, but be careful when eating hard foods and avoid anything that could potentially crack or damage your veneers.
