It can take some getting used to having aligners in your mouth, but Invisalign aligners are very thin and you’ll soon be able to speak as you normally would.
No – you need to take your aligners out to eat and drink anything other than water. Your aligners can be stained by heavily pigmented foods and drinks and damaged by chewing hard or viscous foods while you’re wearing them.
To make sure you stick to your treatment plan timeframe, you need to wear your aligners for at least 22 hours per day, and only take them out to eat or drink.
